Strategic Objectives

The strategic objective of the Gediz Water Basin Dialogue Platform is to create a shared understanding by strengthening continuous dialogue and collaboration among local communities, farmers, public institutions, academia, and the private sector; to encourage the sharing of data and best practices related to the basin’s water and soil resources; to support the development of joint solutions for sustainable agriculture and water management; to increase stakeholder participation in decision making processes; and to enable collective action for the long term protection of the basin through the contribution of all actors.
